The long-awaited Guns'n'Roses Behind the Music special is airing next week, on June 16. For a band that washed up on shore so long ago, they've been receiving an undue amount of exposure this month. Eminem chose to parody Axl Rose for the MTV video awards coming up this week. I actually watched the MTV awards show where Axl swore on-air, back before the advent of broadcast delay.
Guns'n'Roses is also featured prominently in The Greatest 100 Most Metal Moments airing on VH1. I watched it Sunday night - it was hilarious! One of the best moments was Axl Rose and goofball Vince Neil from Motley Cure challenging each other to a fight during an MTV interview. They never even met up to duke it out, they just threatened each other on cable TV. How dorky.
Who do you think would win in a battle between Axl Rose and Vince Neil? I say Axl, because even though he's a shorty like me, he looks scrappy.
