Perro's Camping Adventure
Last weekend Perro had a fun-filled adventure camping at Gooseberry Falls. He inspected several gargantuan boulders and the base of innumerous tree trunks during our hike around the falls. On Saturday, he ate a little bit of real meat at lunch that fell off of a sandwich and he snuggled up in his Pound Puppies sleeping bag. On Sunday, he visited the Glensheen mansion in Duluth. Although dogs are not allowed on the tour, he admired the magnificent Jacobean architecture the mansion's exterior. On the ride home, we stopped at Tobie's in Hinckley for a caramel roll. Perro tried to dig into the bag, but I caught him and preserved the roll for my breakfast the next day. I gave him a beggin' strip for his treat instead. A perfect weekend camping with the pup!
