Mary the HVAC Technician

Well, the past two weeks have been filled with excitement. A week ago Friday, I came home and the temperature in the house was 55 degrees. Perro was shaking in his doggie sweater! Since the gas company couldn't send a repairman until Tuesday, I spent the weekend babysitting my space heaters (which release an aroma of burning hair while they're on.) After a little research on HVAC internet sites, I guessed the furnace had a problem with the circuit board. Not to toot my own horn, but I diagnosed the problem correctly. The relays on the circuit board in the furnace overheated, causing it to act crazy. It was cool watching the repairman install the new circuit board. Maybe someday I'll become an HVAC technician!
