We had our first camping adventure in the van (aka "The Beast" ) last weekend, a trip to the St. Cloud KOA for camp-for-free night. Perro thoroughly enjoyed riding perched atop his own captain's chair. Since it was 40 degrees and raining outside, we picked up Jeff Foxworthy's "Blue Collar Comedy Tour" video to watch on the VCR in the van. I never knew mullets could be such an entertaining subject.
Today I was in the dollar aisle at Target when a well-muscled lady sporting a mullet pushed between myself and the bin of bar-b-que tongs I was inspecting. I thought, there's one of the folks Jeff Foxworthy was talking about. As an FYI to you cheapskates out there, the dollar aisle was recently stocked with all kinds of camping gear and picnic supplies. It's a fabulous place to stock up if you're planning to hit a camping style rock festival or take your dog on a picnic this summer, like I am. The Beast will be making plenty of big trips this summer.
