Today I drove the Del Sol home from work, with the roof in the in the trunk and the wind whipping my hair. It's so clever that Honda gave this little convertible the Spanish words for "Of the Sun" as its moniker. I love my "Honda of the Sun".
This afternoon some folks in a pick-up truck pulled up next to me, and a guy rolled down the window. He leaned out to tell me that I had a really cool car. I'm not making this up for my own ego's sake. This really happened. The truck was white, with rust around the passenger side rear wheel well, and the occupants were listening to 93X. I waved and smiled, and as a show of solidarity I punched the preset for 93X on the stereo and cranked it. The guy gave me the thumbs up.
