Programming Monkey Sighting
Although several years ago one of my former supervisors warned my team that we could be replaced by programming monkeys, I never thought I'd actually see that happen in an IT organization. Then this week I looked at the employee roster for the software application Remember the Milk. I discovered Bob T. Monkey has written thousands of lines of JavaScript while the rest of the team was relaxing on the beach. His bio says, "Bob is an inspiration to other young stuffed monkeys hoping to break into the web scene." I included a photo of Bob at the Remember the Milk roll out to Windows Mobile. Bob is truly an inspiration to myself and programming monkeys everywhere. Remember the Milk provides really cool on-line To-Do lists. Even cooler than the to-do lists in my beloved Franklin Planner, and unlike the Franklin Covey cult, Remember the Milk is free to join.
