A Viking in Farmington

Brad Johnson, the quarterback from the Minnesota Vikings, is down in Farmington today. What the heck is a big shot football celebrity doing in Farmington? He's attending 2nd grade at Meadowview Elementary school. I'm not even going to bother to make a joke here about the Vikings needing remedial classes. That's obvious.
Johnson is hanging out with the 2nd grade today just to say hello to the kids and sign autographs. On the radio this morning he claimed he already passed 2nd grade, and even 3rd grade. Johnson is one of the few Vikings who has never had a drug arrest, or run over a traffic cop, or participated in an X-rated boat party. It's a good thing he took over as quarterback. Could you imagine if they sent Daunte Culpepper to elementary school? He'd probably hit a crossing guard in the school parking lot and then get caught smoking in the little boys' room. Yikes!
