Farmington was in the news last weekend! Unfortunately, the angry Sportsplex controversy was the subject. The local news is usually kind of depressing. Aside from Passolt and Robin's snappy exchanges on the number 9, local news is nearly bereft of humor.
When I read the title of the KARE 11 piece, "Tempers Flare in Farmington", I'm picturing an angry mob wearing orange Tigers sweatshirts, free-roaming the streets of downtown Farmington and overturning minivans. Too bad we can't get some press about the good parts of Farmington, like the Farmington Steakhouse, home of the chopped steak lunch special. Now if you're a beef eater - that's more exciting than the Sportsplex!
